childrenJellytots (1:30 pm - 3:00 pm) is a group for toddlers to come with their parents or carers. This is a great chance for toddlers and parents / carers alike to interact with each other.

Smarties (5:00 pm - 6:00 pm) is for Reception to school year 4 age group. After starting with some toast for all the kids, they participate in games and activities and get involved in Bible stories catered for their age group.

Allsorts (6:00 pm - 7:30 pm) is for children in school years 5 - 7, and is definitely an active group! A selection of rooms with varying activities create different options for this group. From a quiet room with board games and creative resources to larger action based games in the main hall, like hockey and volleyball. Everyone then comes together for interactive Bible talks near the end of the evening.

After8 (7:30 pm - 9:00 pm) is for children in school years 8 - 13, this can be less active but there are games available such as pool and table tennis. More challenging activities occur in this group with cooking. There are plenty of areas and time for this group to relax with each other and then a group discussion at the end of the evening based on a topical issue and how it relates to Christianity.

Bethesda regularly teams up with other FIEC churches in the Suffolk area to bring together all of our children for various events including volleyball tournaments and weekends away. We also regularly have Felixstowe's youth worker to speak to the children about the Bible and let them know about various associated youth events.

Bethesda takes child protection seriously and only uses approved volunteers to work with children. A Child Protection policy is retained in the church office and is available for inspection on request.
