Safeguarding is a priority here. Bethesda takes child protection seriously and only uses approved volunteers to work with children.
We are committed to following guidelines from the government and from CCPAS (The Churches' Child Protection Advisory Service) on safeguarding children, and adults with care and support needs, and good working practice, including recruitment of workers / volunteers.
We work to a formal safeguarding policy, which is held in the church office and which can be seen on request from us.
If you have any concerns regarding the safety or welfare of a child or a vulnerable adult, you can speak to Alison Hudson at the church.
